How to Prepare for a Photoshoot

Before a photoshoot, decide the purpose of the photos. Business profile photos, event photos and promotional photos may need different backgrounds, clothing and poses. Prepare clothing in advance, choose neat colours and avoid distracting patterns if the focus should be on the person or product. Make sure the location is clean and has enough light. If photos will be used for flyers or posters, leave some space around the subject so text can be added later.
